For example, a magic shield that requires attunement provides the benefits of a normal shield to a creature not attuned to it, but none of its magical properties.Īttuning to an item requires a creature to spend a short rest focused on only that item while being in physical contact with it (this can't be the same short rest used to learn the item's properties). ![]() Without becoming attuned to an item that requires attunement, a creature gains only its nonmagical benefits, unless its description states otherwise. Once Phantom Ganon is defeated, head back outside and speak to the Great Deku Tree. Ganon will charge at you with his sword, so stay on your toes. You need to keep your distance or be very quick with your melee attacks. Not only is this Phantom Ganon tough, but he spreads the Gloom everywhere he goes, meaning standing near him will drain your health. This is the real fight, and he is no joke.
